Multi-Engine Training Costs
While there is no minimum number of hours required for a multi-engine add-on, you can expect to spend approximately 8-9 hours training for your multi-engine rating if you are already instrument current and proficient.
You can earn your multi-engine rating in as little as three to five days for as little as $4,133 (Our course includes up to 11 hrs of multi-engine flight time (which consists of up to 9.5 hrs of flight time with an instructor and 1.5 hrs of aircraft time for the practical test), a multimedia multi-engine training program, and up to 8 hrs of ground briefings. The course is designed for active pilots who are instrument current and who have studied all aircraft systems, flight profiles, and multi-engine aerodynamics before arriving for flight training. Examiner fees and any flight time in excess of 11 hrs are not included.
Gulf Coast Aviation is flexible when it comes to scheduling your multi-engine rating. We can schedule you for a single three to five day block (depending on your skill level), two weekend blocks for those not able to train on the weekdays, or any schedule that works for you.
We have negotiated discounts for our students at hotels in the French Quarter and other nice areas of the city. Call us for rates and reservations.
